Aradhana School of Dancing enrols students at all levels, whether a beginner or an experienced student, and sends them for examinations at ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) and IITA (International Institute of Tamil Arts).
ISTD is in fact one of the most recent examination boards Aradhana School of Dancing has joined, and not only does it award UCAS points as you progress through each examination, but also prepares students for many different dance careers. This includes becoming a: teacher, lecturer, examiner, professional dancer and/or a choreographer. You can learn more about this exam board from their website: https://www.istd.org/home/
IITA is an examination board which originates from Switzerland. There are 7 grades in total and students complete written theory exams and practical exams for each grade. When the student finishes Grade 7, they would have developed their teaching skills, writing skills, performance skills and creativity. After completing the 7 grades, the student would have the opportunity to perform a 1 hour solo performance. This would also be judged by an examination panel. The student will also be accompanied with live musicians.
